Ms. Joni Lawrence
MDP Senior Program Associate

Joni Lawrence serves as Senior Program Associate for the Mectizan Donation Program (MDP). Joni manages MDP communications including print materials and the MDP website. She is the editor of the Mectizan Program Notes and the Annual Highlights, MDP's newsletter and annual report. She also serves as coordinator for the Partnership for Disease Control Initiatives, a coalition of pharmaceutical companies donating drugs for disease-specific health programs. Joni is also responsible for managing grants to MDP partners. Prior to joining the Program in 1998, Ms. Lawrence worked for The Carter Center’s Global 2000 River Blindness Program, which she helped launch in 1996.
